As I share my spiritual walk and His Word with others, I am
frequently asked the question “What are you?
Are you Christian, are you Jewish or something else?”
This is a fair enough question in the eyes of men.
Man has the need, having been conditioned for thousands of years
through his inherited religious beliefs of men long dead, to group,
(therefore divide), his fellow man into one of the numerous
religions, and one of the tens of thousands of denominations
(divisions) within these numerous religions.
Let me first speak to this question from a spiritual perspective.
I am a man who took my Creator up on His Invitation that is offered
to every man to seek Him with my whole heart.
I am holding Him to His Promise that if I do this, I will
find Him.
HE KEEPS HIS PROMISES!
MY CREATOR IS NOT A LIAR!!!
As he has promised, I have found Him!
I have come to Him to reason together with Him in His Word.
Again, as He promised, He filled me with His Set Apart Spirit, which
guides me into all Truth.
Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word.
As I seek His Word with my whole heart, being led by His Set
Apart Spirit, I begin to see that every word He has spoken from
Bereshit (Genesis) 1:1 until this moment in time is perfect. I see
this not only in the Scriptures, but also in my personal life as I
follow His Word that I am hearing.
Therefore, with the wisdom of His Perfect Word over the past
6,000+ years, I am assured that every word He has spoken, and will
speak, for the future and into Eternity will be perfect as well.
It is through living out this
faith that He rewards me with His Grace.
It is His Grace, the knowledge of what He expects of me,
which allows me to live a set apart life in this sick and perverse
world. As I continue to
allow His Set Apart Spirit to lead me into all Truth, He will
continue to reward me with greater measures of His Grace.
He has promised us that He is thy exceedingly great reward!
I am living Life More Abundantly that He promises to all men that
give all they have to Him.
This Life is free from the pressures of this world, the
matters of the flesh. He
takes care of all matters in His
He has spoken to me in His Still Small Voice, assuring me that which
I have asked Him for, which will remain private at this time, He
will do for me. As
promised, He has revealed some of His Plans that He has for me over
the next few years, so that I may better understand how to proceed
on His Path. He has not done this because I am somehow better than
other people, but simply because I follow Him with my whole heart.
I will now switch to speaking from the flesh.
I fully realize the path I have chosen puts at risk EVERY
earthly possession that I have;
my family, my friends, my job and all my material goods.
His Desire is my desire, that
all would hear and follow His Word and be saved.
As I progress along this path, sharing His Word in season and
out of season, I understand that His Love will be responded to in
various ways. Some will
just walk away, completely disinterested.
Others will hear, be excited for a little while, but then
move on to other matters.
Some might even rebel so hard against His Love that they will
hate me, never wanting to speak to me again.
A few will be His children that will hear His voice and follow Him.
It is for these that I take the apparent risk of losing all
of my earthly possessions.
His Love has no bounds.
What am I? I am a man
who loves His Creator with his whole heart, following Him wherever
he leads me, desiring no more, but wanting no less, than He finds me
worthy of.
