Much time and discussion is spent determining how well one knows
whom it is they follow.
This is important for one to understand.
This understanding helps one determine how they are
progressing on the path they have chosen.
Scripture also calls man to consider this question from another
perspective – Does He Know You?
To some, perhaps many, this seems like a rhetorical question.
Of course He knows me.
I belong to such and such a church, attend faithfully,
worship with my heart while I am there and tithe regularly.
I serve on numerous committees, read my Bible and pray
regularly and love my fellow man.
I know in my heart that He knows me.
The Jewish Messiah assures everyone that confesses Him before men
that He will also confess them before the Father.
The same goes for denying Him.
Can you confess Him if you do not call on His Name?
Can you confess Him if you keep some of His commands but not
others? Can you confess
Him if you worship Him in the traditions inherited from men long
dead, instead of how He prescribes in Scripture?
In these days of the Latter Rain that He has promised throughout
Scripture, He is once again making Himself and His Name known for
all to hear. He will
continue to do this as the events of these last days unfold
perfectly, just as He has spoken them for all to hear from the
beginning. After 6,000+
years, man’s spirit is without excuse, and very soon his flesh will
be also.
1 Yohanan (John) 2:21-29 I did not write to
you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and
because no falsehood is of the truth.
Who is the liar, except the one denying that
Yahoshua
is the Messiah? This is
the anti-messiah, the one denying the Father and the Son.
No one denying the Son has the Father.
The one confessing the Son has the Father as well.
As for you, let that stay in you which you heard from the
beginning. If what you
heard from the beginning stays in you, you shall also stay in the
Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He has promised
us: everlasting life. I
have written this to you concerning those who lead you astray.
But the anointing which you have received from Him stays in
you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you.
But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and
is true, and is no falsehood, and even as it is taught you, you stay
in Him. And now, little
children, stay in Him, so that when He appears, we might have
boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone
doing righteousness has been born of Him.
Will you be left knocking at the door?
Will you be caught unaware without oil for your lamp?
Does He Know You?
